• "We", "Emaar Green": Refers to Emaar Green Co., CR No. 7038369331.
• "Platform", "4MAP": The digital application provided by Emaar Green for managing engineering licenses and supervision.
• "User", "You": Any natural or legal person using the Platform.
• "Personal Data": Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
• "Processing": Any operation performed on data (collection, storage, use, disclosure, deletion).
• "PDPL": Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law issued by Royal Decree No. M/19.

Scope: This policy applies to all users inside and outside Saudi Arabia when using the 4MAP platform.

We process your personal data based on one or more of the following legal grounds:

• Explicit Consent: When registering or using optional services.
• Contract Performance: To provide agreed services (license management, supervision, notifications).
• Legal Obligation: Compliance with Saudi regulations (PDPL, government agency requirements).
• Legitimate Interest: Service improvement, fraud prevention, cybersecurity, analytics.

• Directly from you: During registration, document uploads, service usage.
• Automatically: When browsing and interacting with the platform (Cookies, SDK).
• Third parties: Government entities (for data verification), cloud service providers (AWS, Google Cloud).

• Account registration and identity verification
• Providing license management and engineering supervision services
• Communicating with users (notifications, updates, technical support)
• Usage analysis and performance improvement
• Fraud prevention and suspicious activity detection
• Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations
• Marketing (with explicit consent only)

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in the following cases:

• Government Entities: Municipalities, Saudi Council of Engineers, Ministry of Municipal Affairs.
• Service Providers: Cloud services (AWS, Azure), payment gateways, analytics tools (with your consent).
• Business Partners: Consulting offices, contractors (based on project nature and with your consent).
• Legal Obligations: When requested by judicial or security authorities.

We may store data on servers outside Saudi Arabia (such as AWS in Bahrain or UAE). We ensure these servers follow certified data protection standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2). We only transfer data to countries or entities providing protection equivalent to PDPL.

• Account Data: During active account period + 5 years after deletion (for legal obligations).
• Project Data: 10 years (per Saudi construction regulations).
• Technical Logs: 12 months (for security and investigations).
• Marketing: Until consent is withdrawn.

We use the following types:

• Essential: Login, sessions.
• Functional: Save preferences (language, notifications).
• Analytical: Google Analytics, Firebase (with consent).
• Marketing: Targeted advertising (with explicit consent).

You can control cookies through browser settings or the app control panel.

• Service Notifications: License updates, system messages (mandatory).
• Marketing Notifications: Offers, new features (optional – you can unsubscribe anytime).

To unsubscribe: Settings > Notifications > Turn off Marketing, or reply "Unsubscribe" to any message.

The platform may contain links to government or partner websites. We are not responsible for their privacy policies. We recommend reviewing their policies before providing any data.

We may use automated systems (AI/ML) for:

• Document verification (validity checks)
• Fraud or suspicious activity detection
• System recommendation improvements

Your Right: You can request human review of any automated decision affecting your rights.

The platform is intended for individuals over 18 years old. We do not collect data from children without parental consent. If we discover data from a child without consent, we will delete it immediately.

You have the right to:

We comply with Apple App Store and Google Play Store privacy policies, including:

• User consent for tracking (App Tracking Transparency - iOS 14.5+)
• No data sharing with third parties without consent

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of any material changes through:

Your continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the changes.
